Stow is a great tool that can be used to manage dot files.
Tmux (Terminal tiling)
Tmux is a terminal tiling program. You can manages multiple shell sessions from a single Terminal program. Tmux allows you to split panes horizontally and vertically. It also allows you to create multiple shell tabs.
To install Tmux, run
sudo apt install tmux
To start a Tmux server, run
tmux
In the Tmux window, you can see all available commands using the following key
codes Ctrl+b ?.
Tmux configuration
To configure Tmux, simply create .tmux.conf at $HOME directory. Tmux will
execute this file before the session begins.

Zellij
Zellij is a terminal workspace with batteries included. It's an alternative to Tmux and other terminal multiplexers.

Z - Jump around
Z is a command-line program that lets you jump around directories without really have to remember the path.

Zoxide - A faster way to navigate your filesystem
zoxide is a smarter cd command, inspired by z and autojump.
It remembers which directories you use most frequently, so you can "jump" to them in just a few keystrokes. zoxide works on all major shells.
